About 28x12mm, 33 carats. Beautiful light blue with great clarity and fantastic termination.  The base has been gently shaped but this crystal is mostly natural in form.  The tourmaline crystals formed first and over centuries were gradually surrounded by aquamarine. One the aqua was fully formed it underwent another transition as deep grooves were etched into its sides by a process of chemical weathering. This crystal tells a story of continual transformation and adaptation, but I like it best as an object of deep viewing and contemplation. Aqua is associated with the throat chakra while tourmaline is linked to the heart and root chakras. A formidable stone to keep close for inner development, but also extraordinarily beautiful.
