This piece is a real show stopper. I have an affinity for opal and enjoy using it for inlay, but since I cut a complete hole in this carving I decided to go with something that was both crystal clear and dynamic. I completed this piece recently and it has become my favorite to wear. The dynamic of balancing, creative agate against the shielding properties of rutilated quartz is phenomenal. Another example of my "evil eye" motif.
